About Todd Krellner, ISA Certified Arborist

DMV Horticulture is led by Todd Krellner, an ISA Certified Arborist and Certified Professional Horticulturist with more than 20 years in the landscape and tree industry around the Washington, DC region.

Todd started in 1998 as a landscape technician and designer, then spent nearly two decades as a landscape consultant on projects across the region. In 2022 he founded DMV Horticulture to focus on the work where his experience matters most: protecting trees on construction sites and helping project teams meet tree requirements without losing time or budget.

Credentials

How We Work

  • Early involvement. We do our best work before site drawings are finalized, when a tree conflict can still be solved on paper.
  • One point of contact. Todd handles the site assessment, the plan, the permit coordination, and the on-site protection.
  • Practical field knowledge. Every plan is written for the actual site conditions, by someone who has installed and inspected tree protection in the field.
